Manatee Inn is a two story, eight room inn nestled in palm and mango trees.
It is completely surrounded by a verandah on both floors to view the spectacular sunsets, the sea and the lagoon. Hammocks are provided for relaxation, reading, or just taking a nap in the breeze.
Manatee Inn is located in the very quiet north area of Placencia Village, off the sidewalk ('Main Street") just steps from beautiful beaches and a 10 minute walk to the dock and local businesses. It is owned and operated by a young Canadian/European couple who care about the quality of each guest's vacation and wish to provide a pleasurable, relaxing, affordable adventurous stay in Belize.
Manatee Inn offers clean, comfortable (some with ocean view) rooms with exotic hardwood floors, ceiling fans and modern private bathrooms with H/C showers.
Eco-adventures can arranged by Manatee Inn to Monkey River, Cockscomb Jaguar Preserve and Mayan Ruins.
Other activities include swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, sea kayaking, and manatee watching. Families with children are welcome.
